On this year's international platform for furniture suppliers, europlac presented innovations according to the motto: “precious wood creates healthy values”, which were unthinkable years ago.

With the precious wood materials of europlac, things can be realised optically and by touch which inspire and at the same time enrich the furniture manufacturing.

Also, the focus is on the products which contribute to healthy living and sustainability.

Being aware that sustainability is not just a megatrend but a responsibility, europlac brings a product on the market which avoids special cultures, plantations and waste of resources.

Local woods with wide cracks, unusual branches and strong discolorations, which would not be used for the production of precious wood for optical reasons, are selectively sought-for and processed to unique precious wood layers with great care as well as little waste.

Wonderful masterpieces of nature originate which speak the centuries-old story.

THE FIRST E-LE-S MATERIALS

A change of the material emission will be necessary due to the reduction of the maximum room air concentration of formaldehyde.

europlacis underway on the market as a pioneer in terms of emissions. Therefore, development and testing according to E1 Plus respectively the new European Low Emission Standard, abbreviated E-LE-S, started in the last year.

This development could now be concluded with a successful emission test for a large product range, the NOBLE WOOD chipboards.

As of now, the E-LE-S tested materials can be obtained from europlac.
