Einsatz

A highly sought-after and premium furniture wood for interior applications. Its high density makes it suitable for manufacturing chairs and other seating furniture. Traditionally, it's also used in piano construction.

Eigenschaften

Fine dark brown wood. A characteristic feature is the so-called Bird-Pecks, fingernail-sized growths and inclusions.

Oberfläche

Very smooth surface. Absorbs all stains well. The wood is easy to polish.
