Einsatz
Most commonly used veneer wood (40 years ago, it was only firewood). It is processed as white veneer (see below) or steamed.
Eigenschaften
Color is whitish to grayish-reddish, with a beautifully muted reddish-brown. Frequent specks and dark spots detract from its value.
Oberfläche
Beech wood stains and polishes well.
