Large-scale projects such as the Heidelberg Congress Center show our true strength: The synergy of sophisticated design and uncompromising technical functionality. Public buildings of this size demand the highest standards — not only in terms of aesthetic appeal, but also in terms of safety and sustainability. By delivering around 2,000 m² of real wood veneer, we have proven that we can combine complex technical requirements, such as flame retardant workmanship, with the highest level of precision craftsmanship. The particular expertise of this project lay in ensuring absolute homogeneity: A consistent, harmonious color scheme in frame (board character) was created across the entire area of the doors and mobile partitions. This significantly supports the architectural vision of a bright, inviting interior. The HCC was awarded the Gold Certificate by the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council), which underlines the pioneering character of the entire construction project.
