Einsatz

Veneer and sawn timber for furniture, paneling, and high-end interior finishing; parquet flooring and stair timber.

Eigenschaften

The heartwood is light brown to yellowish brown, darkening. Rare fine-grained wood is often used for veneer. Wet wood turns blue upon contact with metal.

Oberfläche

Oak can be treated with all surface finishes.
